I support adults in individual sessions dealing with recurring patterns, life crises, burnout, and the feeling of being stuck. My approach is psychodynamic: We look beyond the symptoms to uncover the root cause. Sessions are available in English, German, and Italian.
I am Luigi Portino, Psychologist and Psychotherapy Candidate.
I work with people who are going through periods of transition: moving to a new country, entering a new phase of life, or simply feeling a lack of belonging—whether professionally or personally.
My approach is psychodynamic: We don’t just address the symptoms, but look at the deeper patterns shaping your experience. I am currently completing my psychotherapy training at the LPM Munich and work under professional supervision.
Alongside my psychological training, I bring a background in design and organizational consulting—a perspective that is particularly valuable when supporting individuals navigating professional transitions.

Psychological Counseling
Counseling focuses on short-term problem-solving surrounding topics like integration, cultural adaptation, self-esteem, career, and professional dissatisfaction. Sessions can be held in your preferred language. Counseling is not a therapeutic service and cannot replace psychotherapy for clinical symptoms.
Psychodynamic Coaching
Psychodynamic coaching sheds light on recurring patterns in thinking, relationships, and decision-making—both professionally and personally. It is suitable for professionals dealing with leadership responsibilities, career transitions, or interpersonal tensions.
Therapy slots via LPM
The LPM gGmbH outpatient clinic can arrange therapy slots for depth psychology-based psychotherapy. The costs are covered by statutory health insurance. An initial consultation with the outpatient clinic is required before therapy begins.
